Reflection

I've experienced a lot while working on this module as a whole. Since this module was the first of the semester, i recall how everything was so new to me at first and how difficult it was.

With all of the ups and downs, struggling to come up with ideas and layouts, and processing a final artwork that met my expectations, I can say that I significantly improved in aspects of designing. However, there is still a lot of room for me to explore further and dive deep because, after all, art is very varied and unlimited.

1. What have i learnt in this module?

I’ve learned a lot from this module, including how to apply design principles to every project and how to identify and develop various art techniques. I've also developed using design concepts to illustrate and enhance the context and the message of the design on every project, which has improved my overall work over time. Furthermore, it pushed me to improve my ability to manage time and helped me remain on top of my responsibilities every week so that I could always kept up because this programme used a structured method of developing a progressive schedule to show progress every week.

2. What did i enjoy the most?

The ability to create any type of design, which offers us more opportunity for exploration, was something I truly enjoyed and valued. Because I was able to freely express my creativity and ideas as I like them, it made the tasks really joyful for me.

3. What did i not enjoy the most?

Actually, the stress of the deadline and its pressure are the things I least enjoy. Yet, doing so will be very helpful in the workplace going forward, and it also helps me maintain my time management.

4. What have i learnt about myself through this module?

In addition, this module taught me to push myself above my limits in each project I completed over the course of the semester. It also encouraged me in learning more about who I am, particularly through the self-portrait project. and be aware of surroundings, as this applies to visual analysis.

5. What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?

My sense of self-doubt regarding my designs has lowered. And yet, thanks to this method of learning, which involves blogging and other activities, it is now much easier for me to handle.

6. What could be improved in this module

Every student has their own creative freedom, as far as I can tell. Therefore, in my opinion, it's good enough for me, knowing that I've learned so many principles and techniques.
